To our value readers (and readers of our former social marketing blog on AftertheNet)
When we decided to practice what we preach -- ie. do what we do for clients -- by building a portal around the Social Business (Social Media Marketing 3.0) we recognized that it would be change for our regular readers on the AtN Blog. First, we want to thanks your for your support and readership over the last 3 years. But, we're confident that what you'll find here will dramatically enhance your experience beyond what our blog provided.
The reason we built this portal is that it's the ultimate marketing win-win: better for our audiences and equally valuable for providers - the companies that focus on delivering solutions to those audiences. There is just so much more real estate for a more effortless exchange of ideas between experts and those who can benefit from that expertise without the pressures of a selling environment.
And that lends itself much more to engagement on the social web -- and building the foundation for better Social Business. It's a bit strange for us to be starting from scratch again but it's also a good exercise -- now we'll fully live and breath the same process that we do so often for clients. Plus the whole content mix is so much wider and deeper -- it made sense to start from scratch in building a new network on social media.
Blogs are great -- portals are better!
More content -- more ways to connect -- more business value!
We've seen this model work so well for our clients that we decided it was time to leverage for it ourselves. Building a real community focused around the challenges and tools of Social Business. It's a New Start -- New Brand -- More Value ++++
We've widened our net to capture industry news, events, specialized vendors and to deliver insights from the news, industry examples and educational articles. It's amazing the kind of insights that are available from the goings on in the industry and across a range of companies
But it's equally dramatic how difficult it is for individuals and companies to keep on top of the goings on. That's where we saw opportunity -- to bring insights from across the industry together to help drive one thing -- the connection between vendors and customers -- in a win-win situation.
We're looking forward to sharing with you across our full network on the social site.
